Hands on service is one of the best ways to experience Rotary. At our May Volunteer Event, members, family and friends joined together to clean up the Spring Run Trail along Excelsior Avenue, helping make this popular community space cleaner, safer and more enjoyable for everyone.

Throughout the morning, walkers and neighbors stopped to thank volunteers showing how even a few hours of service can make a meaningful impact. The project also reflected what many value most about Rotary: building friendships, working side by side and seeing how volunteer efforts improve life in Saratoga Springs.

We’re grateful to the City of Saratoga Springs for providing supplies and coordinating cleanup pickups. If you’re looking to connect with others and make a visible difference, Rotary offers countless opportunities to get involved. The Spring Run Trail cleanup is just one example of how members put Service Above Self into action. This story is shared from the Rotary Club of Saratoga Springs Quarterly Newsletter.
