The Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides comfort to people affected by disasters; supplies about 40% of the nation’s blood; teaches skills that save lives; distributes international humanitarian aid; and supports veterans, military members and their families.

Peter McKee of the Northeastern New York Chapter has been a shelter volunteer since 2022. He has supervised three Mega Shelters in Florida and has helped to opened over half a dozen shelters across our the Eastern New York Region. Additionally, he has supervised three Mega Shelters in Florida.

Drilling for Hope is the brainchild and philanthropic outreach of Karen Flewelling, a field hockey coach/retired teacher who has traveled the world helping those in need for the past decade.

ADK (Adirondack Mountain Club) works to protect New York State wild lands and waters by promoting responsible outdoor recreation and building a statewide constituency of land stewardship advocates.

Based out of the Adirondack Park in New York State, ADK is a leader in providing outdoor education, promoting responsible recreation, and organizing stewardship experiences. Since 1922, the organization has worked to increase access to the backcountry by building trails, conserving natural areas, and developing a stewardship community that supports the ethical and safe use of New York’s outdoor spaces. A member, donor, and volunteer-supported organization, ADK reaches across New York through its chapters to inspire people to enjoy the outdoors ethically. 

The Y strives to provide all members of our community with opportunities and resources to live a healthier lifestyle. 

Our evidence based health intervention programs are just one way our Y is evolving to help meet the needs in our community. These community health programs help members manage and improve their daily quality of life, following a strict curriculum and tracking each participants progress. From arthritis to high blood pressure management and more, each program is run differently, but all are designed to show individuals how far they have come on their journey with the Y.

Gift of Life of Central New York is committed to providing hope to children from developing countries with heart disease, regardless of their gender, creed, or national origin, by supporting autonomous Gift of Life programs in an effort to care for these children in need and to coordinate the development of sustainable pediatric cardiac surgery, catheterization and aftercare programs in select countries through the empowerment of local healthcare professionals.

Lois Celeste is the Executive Director of the Saratoga Senior Center. Since 1955 the mission of the Saratoga Senior Center is to empower seniors to achieve and maintain personal independence and individual well-being by providing the program structure and support services necessary for healthy recreation, companionship, social involvement, and problem solving.

Derek is the Capital Campaign & Community Engagement Director for Saratoga Center for the Family.  The Saratoga Center for the Family works to strengthen children, families, and our community by reducing the effects of abuse, trauma, and family dysfunction through advocacy, education and mental health therapy.

The agency was incorporated in 1978 as the Saratoga County Task Force on Child Abuse and Neglect and was started as a grass roots response to concerns about child abuse and neglect in Saratoga County. In 1993 the Task force changed its name to Saratoga Center for the Family to reflect the centers commitment to serving not only those who have been abused but to build stronger families and empower individuals with a goal of preventing abuse before it starts. Today the Saratoga Center for the Family provides abuse prevention programs, mental health services, victims' advocacy and is home to the Harriet M. West Child Advocacy Center.

Since 1977, the Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation has been dedicated to preserving and enhancing the unique architectural, cultural, and landscaped heritage of Saratoga Springs. The Foundation drives community stewardship of our heritage through educational programs, technical assistance, advocacy, and restoration.

C.R.E.A.T.E. Community Studios is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit dedicated to providing a space where the benefits of art-making impact both the individual and the community as a whole. Their goal is to use expressive arts as an equalizer across cultural and economic barriers, and for participants to learn how to use art as an expressive medium to increase their general well-being.

Mary’s Haven  is a community home for the dying for persons with irreversible illness who are within the last three months of their lives and can no longer safely remain in their homes. Holistic hospice care is provided to address the resident's physical, spiritual, emotional, and social needs.
