Rotary Club of Saratoga Springs Opens 2025 Grant Opportunity

The Rotary Club of Saratoga Springs is pleased to announce its 2025 bi-annual major gift grant opportunity, supporting local organizations and initiatives that reflect Rotary’s mission of service, community enrichment, and positive impact across Saratoga County.
The Rotary Club of Saratoga Springs is pleased to announce its 2025 bi-annual major gift grant opportunity, supporting local organizations and initiatives that reflect Rotary’s mission of service, community enrichment, and positive impact across Saratoga County.
Eligible applicants must be community-based organizations with IRS 501(c)(3) designation. Grants will not be awarded to individuals, government entities, or religious organizations seeking funding for religious purposes. Proposals should focus on projects that make a meaningful difference in areas such as education, health, youth development, and social services.
All proposals must include a resolution passed by the organization’s governing board and signed by the Chair of the Board, authorizing the submission and confirming the validity of the project. A sample resolution is available upon request.
Evaluation Criteria:
Proposals will be reviewed based on the following considerations:
- All proposed projects must have a minimum total budget of $5,000.
- The project should be community-oriented and visible, meaningful, and usable by the greater Saratoga Springs community or a reasonable subset of it.
- Applicants should include a clear statement of the benefits to the community if funded.
- The represents a portion of a larger project, applicants must outline funding sources for the remaining components.
- The portion or component funded by Rotary should be easily identifiable within the larger project.
- Projects should be completed within a reasonable timeframe and must begin within 12 months of the award date.
- A permanent designation of the Rotary Club’s support (e.g., plaque, signage) is required. Applicants should describe how this recognition will be incorporated.
