Kate Van Buren, Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Services of Saratoga County

Kate Van Buren lives in Ballston Spa with her husband (Bob) and pooches (Connor and Jack), is a graduate of Leadership Saratoga (class of 2010), a member of the Ballston Spa Business and Professional Association, and a cantor at St. Mary’s Church there. And she has the coolest job – working with the community to better understand and reduce relationship and sexual abuse across Saratoga County. She works at Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Services of Saratoga County (DVRC), and while her title – Donor Relations – might sound like ‘ask for money’, she sees it as much more. Her goal is to engage everyone across Saratoga County to help reduce the disturbingly high prevalence of these abuses
Also, the DVRC is accepting donations of old cell phones.
